As the new year begins, we’re now getting preparations underway for the largest and longest running slopestyle event of the Chinese season! This January 15th local riders will be pushing their limits in an attempt to earn their spot in the 9th Red Bull Nanshan Open! This weekend the Nike 6.0 Nanshan Park will play host to the 9th Red Bull Nanshan Open National Qualifier, drawing in snowboarders from all over the country as the five remaining spots in the 4Star TTR 9th Red Bull Nanshan Open (Jan 22-23) are put up for grabs. The qualifier is free to enter and open to anyone, so no matter your nationality, age, or riding ability we encourage you to participate! A wide range of spot prizes from Nike 6.0, Dakine and Mellowparks.cn will be given out in all sorts of categories from Youngest Rider to Worst Slam, as well as (small) suitcases filled with cash to the first four rankings. With sweet prizes, a fun-and-friendly vibe and free Red Bull, come and support the locals as China’s most popular snowboard event kicks off the winter season with a bang!
