So I was wondering if there is any back country in new york specifically in the catskill mtns but any where in new york is fine I heard that the adirondacks can have its moments if there is a heavy dump so i was wondering if anybody knew if the catskills has anything close to that level I was also thinking to get some powder or crusted crap with powder underneath was to hike to the top of overlook mtn and slide down if but was also wondering of that is steep enough to go down the whole thing without getting stuck in the middle Another possiblity is the 60 degree slide on the east side of the mtn (one towards the hudson river) if you see anything wrong with that please tell me thanks for reading
