Beaver Creek…

My girlfriend and I are planning on going to Beaver Creek at the beginning of January 2012. I was wondering if anyone had any advice or tips on pretty much anything that you think is relevant for me, a beginner, to know going in there. I know that it’s pretty expensive but anything other than that would be great
