Hey, so when I bought my gear in late 2009 I wasn’t the most educated and probably got suckered into buying specific stuff for reasons other than functionality. I bought the 2010 burton cartel bindings, and everytime I’ve boarded with them, I’ve gotten bruises on the bottom of my calves, generally found them too stiff and have gotten sore ankles etc (might also be due to riding styles…)
