buying a new board, need some advice

At the moment, id rate myself at the intermediate level but by the end of next season i will probably closer to advanced as im getting the sos pass to okemo, sunapee, and stratton, and plan on going about twice a week. Also, i seem to have picked the sport up fairly quickly so my concern here is not only buying a board that will do what i want it to, but also one that i can grow into

Riding the PNW

I personally have been riding a burton twin 151 all last season but it was hardpacked tho in the trees where there was a foot of powder the thing floated , i didnt bring it with me in the move lent it to a friend. I did how ever write my fat bob 158 and it sank horribly all day so i switched to my custom X 164 did alot better im about 5’11” so what size should i get if i were to get a banana magic i fell in love with softer boards so i was thinking a 154 but im coming to the realization that might sink just like the 158 fat bob

Curious how I get along with the zero camber. I learned to ride on a 1998 Burton Floater with traditional camber, so that’s what I’m used to. I rode a Skunk Ape with…camber/reverse camber (hell, is that even right?) and did pretty well with that

2013 Lib-Tech TRS

:dunno: What do you guys think? So, I read every review, asked on this forum and elsewhere, and last year bought my wife a Neversummer Lotus 151 to replace her well-aged 1995 Burton Custom 151. She rode it on one trip last year out to Whistler (which had lots of powder), and road it in our local downhill ski race slalom league (more of a beer league).

I’ve been riding a GNU Altered Genetics MTX 156 for the last 5 years or so but am enticed by all of the reverse camber options out there right now. I primarily free ride, with next to no park, but I do love buttering, ground tricks, jumping natural features, etc.

2013 Nitro Pantera – review

OK… so I’ve been on this board when I had my T6 2 years back before buying my Travis Rice and Kessler THE RIDE (KTR)! And I was blown away by it’s speed, dampness and sheer performance! I was just about to purchase the 2012 (similar to 2013) which was on 50% promo special. But with demo day coming I decided to wait and try it again before jumping the gun.

The Board flex is responsible for doing butters,jumps etc or the Board Profile? At most reviews I read , people refers mostly to camber,reverse camber profiles etc for buttering,park,jumps jibbing etc and not too much for at board flex..

New Binding angle set up

Hey everyone just thought I would ask some experienced folks what is a good starting point for my Arbor Element CX (camber). It is a directional board so I was thinking more angle in front less in back. I have only ridden reverse camber snowboards and I keep them at 15, 15.

Blacklist vs. Skate Banana

Haven’t found a thread on this so i might as well start one. Both boards are generally the same with reverse camber and some sort of edge technology(griptech on arbor and mtx on the banana) and seem to be park boards that do well overall. My last board being the banana, im curious to see how the arbor compares
