There are now scholarships for skateboarders to go to college. CSEF, The College Skateboarding Education Association plans to give out at least $50,000 in scholarships this year.
Scholarships are earned by students who keep good grades, have a true financial need, demonstrate a passion for skateboarding and contribute to their communities. Applications are open and must be submitted by June 5th, 2024. This scholarship is for skateboarders, by skateboarders, 100 percent volunteer run and committed to equity and creating positive change in the world.
Maybe soon there will be a scholarship for snowboarders too. This is certainly a great first step!
