Earth Day is Monday, April 22, 2024, but Protect Our Winters is celebrating Earth Month in a little reminder that Earth Day should be every day (because we want our seasons to continue to be very snowy, right?).

POW has collaborated with Strava on an Earth Month Challenge. The premise is simple. Get outside for at least 250 minutes over the next two weeks leading up to Earth Day (that is about 18 minutes a day) and record your activity on Strava.

Jeremy Jones, trailblazing big mountain rider and founder of Protect Our Winters, spoke directly from the @protectourwinters account to announce the challenge.

Of course, snowboarding would be our number one recommended activity for this challenge, but anything outside counts.

Get those 250 minutes in and you'll be entered to win, too (of course, the real winning is being outside, but prizes are a bonus). You'll also get a unique Protect Our Winters Earth Month Challenge badge on the app.

The details from POW:

"Crush the challenge and you’ll earn a custom POW Earth Day badge and be entered to win 1 of 6 Stoke Packs … featuring over $900 worth of gear from POW and outdoor brands @arcteryx, @keen, @smartwool, @clifbar, @superfeet, @buffofficial, @skinfixinc, and @goodr."

More info can be found on the Protect Our Winters website here.
