Alright, so here’s a guy with 16,000 songs in his iTunes library, of which less than 1% is rap/hip-hop/etc. This is mostly because I’m so turned off by mainstream rap (it’s honestly all the same to me (yes, huge hypocrisy)), and love the stuff I listen to now(electronic, post-hardcore, indie rock) so much that I havn’t bothered venturing into the hip-hop genre. Ironically, I write beats all the time, and can appreciate some good hip-hop remixes.
