East Street Archives returns to Stratton, Vermont this weekend for the second edition of Homesick, bringing together generations of snowboarders in a venerated East Coast stomping ground.

Homesick, created by Gary Land and Barry Dugan, launched in March 2023 with a three-day event in Southern Vermont and drew riders like Tricia Byrnes, Todd Richards, Ross Powers, Scotty Lago, Zeb Powell, Maggie Leon, Johnny O'Connor, and more.

March 22-24, 2024, Homesick will hold three events. The OG Downhill on Friday, Powers Retro Pipe on Saturday, and Zebulon Rail Jam on Sunday. Each event is open to the public to compete as well as spectate. Competitors ride in divisions, so all ages are welcome.

While every event is a celebration, Saturday's Powers Retro Pipe is a highlight of Homesick. Watching the riders, from legendary professionals to the next generation, boosting out of the 12-foot halfpipe is a treat. In 2023, Shaun White even showed up to take some runs in a classic New England situation: dumping snow on pipe day.

In addition to the competitions, there's plenty going on off hill to enjoy. The Burton Store in the Stratton Village will host the Witness Photo Gallery, featuring 40 years of snowboarding images. The Dawning Exhibit will share artifacts from Jeff Brushie, Paul Graves, and Chuck Barfoot, "three legends who have made a significant impact on snowboarding," explained by @eaststreetarchives on Instagram.
