Each year Bear Mountain’s Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails begins the official countdown to the start of the SoCal snowboarding season. The carnival-like atmosphere at Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails–which features entertainment and giveaways from the biggest board, boot, binding, and outerwear manufacturers in the world–is a sideshow to the main event, which is the much celebrated jib showdown. On September 22nd, 2012 , the best talents in the rail scene will venture to Bear Mountain, California for a chance at performing in front of the largest crowd of any single snowboarding event in the United States, as well as the opportunity to join the prestigious list of HDHR title holders, which includes Keegan Valaika, Lucas Magoon, Chas Guldemond, Jed Anderson, and a grip of other, equally iconic riders
