Killington , a.k.a. The Beast of the East, has opened for business! The resort, which has long had a reputation for opening early and closing late, officially dropped the ropes early on Tuesday, November 2nd. Current terrain offerings are limited to the upper mountain area, specifically on North Ridge, which is being accessed by the K-1 Gondola (for uploading/downloading only) along with the new Peak Walkway , which makes its debut this year.
