Kokomo Murase, whose style is as heavy as her riding, is the 2024 Park and Pipe Crystal Globe winner.

The Japanese ripper and 2022 Olympic bronze medalist won slopestyle gold in Tignes, France the previous weekend, lining her up for the Crystal Globe if she kept up her streak at the season's final event in Silvaplana in Switzerland.

And that she did, earning second in a competitive field (the status quo in women's slope). Reira Iwabuchi came in first and Anna Gasser in third.

The finish in the final World Cup of the season sealed the deal for Murase, who earned not only the overall Park and Pipe Crystal Globe, but also the 2024 Slopestyle Crystal Globe.

On Instagram, she wrote (translated from Japanese), "All competitions for the season are now closed. I fell many times in the summer and had a lot of hard times, but I'm so glad that I didn't give up and came out to the results and believed in myself. I'm glad I was able to do my best at all competitions this year. I'm connected with my confidence for next year. Thank you all for your support!"

Kokomo has been on fire this winter. In January, she became the first woman to win three medals at X Games since 1997, the year before she was born. She won gold in the inaugural women's knuckle huck, gold in big air, and silver in slope.

In big air, Kokomo landed the first-ever frontside 1440 by a woman, a huge deal, of course.

So to say that this has been a big year for @cocomonsan would be an understatement. Such good style, such big tricks, and such technical prowess.

We can't wait to watch what she does next. Will it be getting into the backcountry? She continued saying on Instagram, "From now on, I would like to encourage back country to practice with fun. We hope to see you next season!"

At only 19 years old, there's no limit to where this talented rider can go.
