Holy Bowly has become the pinnacle event for the snowboard event production company, Snowboy Productions, and it will be returning to Sunshine Village Resort for 2024.
It was hosted there last year as well, and before that has taken place for many years at Timberline at Mount Hood in Oregon, after it's initial inception in Japan in 2012.
What is Holy Bowly, you may ask? Well, it is a yearly event conceptualized and brought to life by a man named Krush Kulesza. Holy Bowly is a sort of "contest" that is not determined by your performance score or the number of flips you execute. It is simply more of a gathering to unite the broader snowboard community as the season winds down, navigating imaginative paths through a course meticulously crafted by the whole Snowboy Productions crew and dedicated diggers who endure challenging conditions for a week and a half. The result is a distinctive flow park featuring bumps, berms, volcanoes, rollers, quarter pipes, and more.
