Yes, the ground hog did see his shadow and call for an early spring this year but we did not think winter would be over this early. For our poor friends over in the Midwest at Hidden Valley Ski Resort in Wildwood, Missouri, they had to call it a close to the season.

To mark February 25th as the final day of the winter ski season just does not feel right, and we are sending love to our homies over in Missouri. The thing is: you would think that there would be at least one more month of cold weather (and what else to do when it is cold besides occupy yourself with shred time) however, Hidden Valley has closed due to warm temperatures.

Well, at least they got end it with a bang. Closing weekend at Hidden Valley was full of fun and activities including a midnight lap, a terrain park contest, and the highly anticipated Spring Fling party.
