I just bought this protective ‘jacket’ to wear under my shell when I go riding It is overkill for the mostly all mountain riding I do, but falling down is way less tiresome and its kind of nice to charge at some trees and not worry too much about clipping a root (or a trunk). I had been wearing this with some forearm pads , but having everything in one piece now with better shoulder padding will hopefully be preferable.
