Just kidding. But kind of not really. After the end of 2023 delivering nothing but crumbs of now, 2024 is coming in hot and heavy. Just take a look at Timberline Lodge at Mount Hood in Oregon. Over 100 inches of snow in the next week?! Girl, maybe I will buy a flight right now and see you all out there.
The current conditions at Timberline do look windy, but snow has definitely come and more is on the way. If you do happen to find yourself out at Timberline over this coming weekend or next week, or you have plans to do so, please BE WARY of deep snow and tree wells. It is always smarter to ride with a friend. The avalanche conditions are high in most places right now, and snowboarding with a friend is more fun anyway.
