Snowboard Iskola

first stop was jay peak,vt excellent conditions all week and a great bunch of people to hang out with wasnt sure what to expect meeting/staying with a load of strangers for a week but it was soo much better than i expected i wasnt sure about the resort either as seeing the piste map beforehand it seemed small compared to what im used to yes the runs were small and basic but the tree(glade!)runs more than make up for it awesome little place powder every day! the only downside was going over the medium kicker and seeing a skier sitting there, tried to move around him and landed on my shoulder and it still hurts now(3 weeks later) next up was jackson hole,wy i had heard great things about this place nice country type town fairly steep slopes but nothing hard excellent resort with alot to do around the mountain but the snow was absolutely rubbish, ive had better in europe at the end of april! im sure it would be really good if there was alot of snow im gutted that corbets was closed, heard it has only been open for 2 days this seasonthey couldnt believe it when i said i’d had better conditions in vermont someone there said it was the worst year for snow in 20 years next up was monarch mountain,co we’d had a day cat skiing booked snowed the night before we got there 1 full day of awesome powder riding the snow here seemed alot lighter than jay peak next up was winter park for a few days nice resort but moguls everywhere managed to find some fresh snow in some parts and there was a few tree runs, but nothing like jay couldnt believe how they rip you off for a half day pass $92 for a full day,$7 discount for a half day!!we stayed in the pub instead out of all the resorts the ones i would definitely go back to are jay peak and monarch mountain it would be nice to try jackson again if they had alot more snow what an amazing trip/insight we had back home and into reality now!
