Quick question…

Thinking of buying 08/09 ride spi bindings, everywhere i look on the site specs it says they have a forged aluminum response disc, my question is is the frame also aluminum on that model because i know the newer ones are, since that’s the main reason im getting them? also how do they hold up, im planning on going to the mountains often and dont want to be getting new bindings every season
