Rome Targa’s

So I just received my Targa’s today and went to put them on my board when I noticed that the rubber on one of the bottoms was not right. On the heel side of one the rubber is aprox 1/4 inch to long and on the adjacent side it’s missing 1/4 inch. My question is should I just cut the rubber or send them back to get another pair
