Today was a sucky day. We had to put down our family cat that we had for 18 years, He had cancer and was at the point that hanging on to him any longer would have been selfish and caused the poor cat a miserable passing. So this afternoon, we took him to the animal clinic and they confirmed that his kidneys were shut down and he was dehydrated and likely had only days of life left
