Sendy, the app founded by Travis Rice and mountain biker Cam Zink, launched in 2022. On the surface, Sendy is a marketplace for gear resale and rental, but with Travis and team behind it, the layers of intention and possibility have been expanding over the past two years.

The premise for Sendy is straightforward: create a place where people can buy, sell, and/or rent gear to help them enjoy their time outdoors. Through this, help gently used gear find new homes instead of ending up in landfills. Centralize an online location where more affordable gear is available, ideally making it easier for people to get outside with the products they need, in the first place.

Building on that over the past two years has been organic. From collaboration with pro athletes and events, to partnerships with non-profit organizations like Boarding for Breast Cancer and Protect our Winter, the app—which is also a certified B corp—ingrains impactful values into its promotion of a circular gear cycle.

And just announced, the app is now live in Canada. Sendy partnered with Manboy and Whistler backcountry royalty, Chris Rasman, on the Canadian launch.

Rasman replied, "Got a nice 18L airbag pack up there for sale right now too."

That was just yesterday, so the backpack still could be available.
