setup carve…

Okay so i’ve got my FS 3’s very consistent but I sometimes have this problem with my setup carve when i reach the lip of the jump and pop i slip and do a terrible 180? does this mean i’m putting too much heel into my setup carve? Is it possibly cause the lip was icy
