Skullcandy welcomes a new rider to their team, and the name of this rider is Tommy Gesme. I have heard of him, you have heard of him, we all know him, and we all love him. He is a come up for Skullcandy, and we love to see our friend getting more sponsored up.
After a hiatus from the industry, Skullcandy has been back with a vengeance for the past couple of years. Their current snowboard team includes riders like Anna Gasser, Mark McMorris, Hailey Langland, Eero Ettala, Zak Hale, Austin Lamoreaux, and more. A lot of these snowboarders are traditionally big name contest riders, so the addition of Tommy adds a very legitimate street element to the crew. Tommy is a midwest rail aficionado hailing from northern Minnesota, and the kid is at the top of his game.
Skullcandy is likely going to keep stacking their team and spreading their marketing wings around the industry, and we love it.
