Snow is in the air! In the past seven days, ski areas from New England to the Rockies have checked in with About.com to let us know that Mother Nature is starting winter early this year. In New England, an early-season snowstorm in higher elevations left 25″ atop Stowe , while Killington picked up 14″ and Okemo nabbed nearly 12″ (according to a friend’s eye-witness account).
