For over a decade, SNOWBOARDER has released our annual Rider of the Year issue to recognize those pros whose accomplishments most impacted our sport in a given season. While meant to entertain, inform, and incite discussion, the ultimate goal of this tally is to reflect the importance of these riders to the greater snowboarding world. While on the surface this initiative may seem grandiose, it is our sincere agenda to provide a platform which brings credit to those whose efforts at the very top affect everyone who enjoys the slopes
