Someone’s selling…

I’ve been casually trolling craigslist for snowboarding stuff (not very motivated) and last night I saw an ad where someone is selling a dozen boards and 6 pairs of boots. The boots and boards are all different sizes and types, and they all have random brands of bindings on them. I’m just wondering what circumstances would explain this, other than the obvious — selling stolen stuff
