The recent mega storm that blanketed New England last weekend has bolstered the snowpack and extended the season all over the Northeast.

In Northern Vermont, Stowe just announced they are staying open for another week past their previous plans. Closing day was bumped to April 21, 2024.

On Instagram, the resort shared the lift operations schedule for the rest of the season:

"4/15-4/19 Operations:
🚡 Sunrise Six and FourRunner Quad will be open 8am-4pm daily.

4/20-4/21 Operations:
🚡 Sunrise Six and FourRunner Quad will be open 8am-4pm; Over Easy Gondola will be open 7:30am-5pm.

We’re looking forward to longer days, sunny skies and soft snow as we shift to spring skiing here at #Stowemt."

This winter was a rough one on the East Coast (as well as so much of North America), but March storms delivered and bolstered the season, thankfully. In March, the mountain got five feet of snow.

Stowe's annual snowfall total reached 258 inches after the recent storm, just shy of the mountain's average of 314 inches, but considering the roller coast conditions over this winter, that's not bad.
