Proto CT Questions
Hey guys, I’ve been trying to get my hands on a Proto for a month now after reading the plethora of love being shown for it here on the forum, and personally demoing it around christmas time, and have negotiated a good deal on either a 154 or a 157. So my first question is, weighing around 160 with size 10.5 vans aura boots(a little bulky), which size would you guys go with. Im used to riding a 156 cambered board and I know that since the proto has blunted tips it rides like its a size or two larger so I figured I could go with the 154 for a „funner” feel.

Is this feasible?
ok so im 6’3 185-190ish with size 13 boots….I currently ride a flow quantum 155w with a 26.1 cm waist and have no problems whatsoever with toe and heel drag …so I want to pick up the new never summer proto ctx but I have heard it rides a few centimeters longer than it is because of the sidecut and blunted tips…so my question is do you think I could get away with getting the 152?! :eek:….its waist width is 25.8 cm which is only 3 mm narrower than what I ride now and I figured since the board rides longer than it is that it could work? :dunno: what do you guys think?

im just starting out snowboarding and i always rent boards and i finally decided to buy one, but a secondhand one, i found a 158cm Burton blunt with Burton custom bindings, and a 2008 ride kink 155cm, and the Burton defiantly looks better than the ride, but im only 5’4″, and i cannont find a good board my size, and for the right price, they both want $200 for there boards, i talked to the guy with the kink and he says he would take $150 and that does not include the boots, and i have not yet talked to the guy with the blunt, which one should i get?

Found a great deal on 2012 Proto CT but it’s 152cm. I currently ride a 07 Riders Choice 154.5 cm but would like something a bit smaller and just need an upgrade in general.
