The first blue day after two days of gray, Mark Sullivan walks into the warming tent and the first thing out of his mouth was, “well you pussies gunna go ride or what?” Those words set the tone for the rest of Tailgate Alaska. Tailgaters were treated to an unbelievable ten out of twelve days of blue skies and sunshine this year. The heli guides flew non-stop, snow machines broke and were fixed to break again and the King of the Hill event went off with as good of conditions as you could ask for.
