Telluride expirience?

So I had my hear set on a Wolfcreek trip this year but im starting to think wolfcreek might be a little too gnarly for my gf and her brother. So were looking at hitting up telluride instead but were looking at what a trip out there cost. I called in today and I was quoted about $1056 for 3 nights in telluride 200 ft from the lift no lift tickets
