As stated in a recent press release, "Teton Gravity Research (TGR), the global leader in action and adventure lifestyle media, announced today that its latest snowboard film Flying High Again has earned 10 total nominations for the upcoming iF3 Movie Awards, honoring the best in amateur and professional ski and snowboard films.

Flying High Again is the TGR’s long-awaited collaboration with pioneering snowboard film director and Standard Films founder Mike Hatchett, and will make its debut tonight in Reno, Nevada. Complete tour dates are available here.

The iF3 Movie Awards will take place at the Maury Young Arts Centre in Whistler, B.C., on Oct. 21.

Flying High Again, which is the culmination of the decades-long relationship between Hatchett and TGR co-founders Todd and Steve Jones, was nominated for the Jury’s Pick as the best film at the festival, as well as Film of the Year in the Pro Snowboard category.

The film also picked up nominations for Best Cinematography and Best Editing, while a number of athletes featured in the film earned nominations for their performances.

Brandon Davis led the way with three individual nominations: Standout Male Snowboarder of the Year, Best Backcountry Segment, and Best Urban Segment. John Jackson was also nominated for Standout Male Snowboarder of the Year and Best Backcountry Segment. Danny Davis also picked up a nomination for Best Backcountry Segment.
