Board: The Dinosaurs Will Die Rat

Size: 151

Camber Option: Repop Camber. Flat middle section rocker in the tips.

Bindings: K2 Indy

Stance: 21.5 Wide 18 Negative 15 Goofy

Boots: K2 Thraxis Size 10

My Weight: 195lbs

Resort: Copper Mountain

Conditions: Sunny blue skies, occasional cloud bursts, colder temps, and fresh corduroy.

Flex: This board is above a full blown jib noodle but below a middle of the road park flex. There’s an abundance of play in the tips and then stiffer through the middle. The torsional flex is abundant but not over powering.

Stability: Surprisingly this board is stable. You do get a little bit of chatter in the tips but it doesn’t resonate back underfoot. It will get bucked around in rutted out terrain.

Ollies: This board has a skate style pop to it and it’s abundant. You just snap and bam you’re in the air.

Pop On Jumps: I wouldn’t push it to the bigger jumps in the medium line, but if you’re one of those riders that likes to hit things like you’re riding a skate park, you’ll love popping off everything you can.

Butterability: This board locks in and snaps out of butters. The sweet spot is immense and locks right in.

Jibbing: This is what this board is made for. It locks in and slides with ease. It’s got rebound where you need it but doesn’t over power you.

Carving: While not a board you’re going to go rail hard Euro-carves with it’s got enough edge hold to let you lay the board over and drive it through a turn. Short quick carves are where this board stands out.

Rider in Mind: Skate style inspired park rider.

Personal Thoughts: This board has more snap and stability to it than the previous models. Personally it makes sense and makes it a far more enjoyable ride.
