Board: Nitro Quiver Cannon

Size: 173

Camber Option: Cam-Out Camber.

Bindings: K2 Indy

Stance: 21.5 Wide 18 Negative 15 Goofy

Boots: K2 Thraxis Size 10

My Weight: 195

Resort: Copper Mountain

Conditions: Sunny blue skies, fresh snow, chunder snow, colder temps, and typical Colorado conditions.

Flex: This board is actually softer than you would think. It’s got a true directional flex meaning softer nose into a stiffer tail, with a fair amount of torsional flex.

Stability: The nose of this board flaps a lot at speed. You’ll notice any time you charge how much chatter the nose has. Under foot it’s more stable but it’s not damp by any means which as you can guess means you’ll feel every vibration.

Ollies/Pop: With the camber profile on this board you can load it up and pop. It’s not the snappiest deck out there but it’s solid, the size does put some limitations on getting it into the air.

Butterability: You can do it, especially on the tail, but that nose will make you work for it harder than you think.

Carving: This board rips carves. It’s one of those boards that when you’re on edge you will feel it grip and lock in. You drive this board from the back foot and can get it to slingshot out of all carves almost like a surfboard. It’s quick and nimble edge to edge which for it’s size is refreshing.

Rider in Mind: Someone that’s going to ride wide open blower powder.

Personal Thoughts: Well this board rips. It grips on edge perfectly well and does what it needs to do, but it excels in wide open powder fields. You’ll find yourself getting face shots and spraying skiers. Always spray skiers. It is very limited due to its size in trees, seriously you will die.
