Board: Telos Back/Slash

Size: 148

Camber Option:

Bindings: K2 indy

Stance: 21.5 Wide 18 Negative 15 Goofy

Boots: K2 Thraxis Size 10

My Weight: 195lbs

Resort: Arapahoe Basin

Conditions: Sunny blue skies, zero wind, some fresh snow, some frozen firm snow, and perfect corduroy.

Flex: This is one of those volume shifted boards that has a directional flex; meaning softer nose stiffening up to the tail. There’s a little bit of torsional give but not a ton.

Stability: There’s only one spot on this board that gets some chatter and that’s in the nose, otherwise this board is very stable for its size.

Ollies/Pop: With the slightly set back camber this board has some snap off the tail. It’s easy to load up and it pops exceptionally well.

Butterability: The nose of this board is an amazing platform for buttering. The setback, flex, and camber profile come together to make this board just dig in and press on snow.

Carving: Here’s where this board really shines. You can get low and just set an edge and not worry. Short tight quick carves or long drawn out ones, it’s got you covered. Rail a turn and just be prepared to snap out of it.

Rider in Mind: Someone that wants a volume shifted powder board that can carve.

Personal Thoughts: So yeah, I want three of these. This board is just designed around making any type of conditions fun. Whether I was in light pow, heavy pow, or just a groomer it was a blast to ride around on.

Comparable Boards: K2 Cool Bean, Rossignol Sushi, Weston Backwoods, Marhar Woodsman, Burton Working Stiff
