Conditions: Sunny blue skies, warmer temps, zero wind, some heavy powder, ice, chunder fields of death, and perfect corduroy.
Flex: Much like a lot of boards this has a middle of the road flex. You have play in the tips till it hits the titanal struts then it starts to stiffen up from there through the insert packs to the middle. There’s a noticeable amount of torsional flex but it’s not overwhelming.
Stability: You feel vibrations right under foot and this is more or less a result of the titanal struts. They do not dissipate that vibration at all. In rutted out terrain the board can charge through anything and won’t fold but your legs take a hammering.
Ollies: This board has snap as it rightfully should being predominately traditional camber. When you load it up it snaps, when you hit a side hit, it snaps and boosts. This is a board for someone that knows how to load camber because it has pop. The biggest thing to note is that you want to make sure you engage the ends of the titanal struts because that’s going to give you optimal pop.
Pop On Jumps: This board sends jumps with ease. You’ll notice that it can boost off a lip and send it deep.
Butterability: It takes a bit more to muscle around and press into but it’s not overwhelming. There’s a sweet spot right where the flat section is so you ideally want to hit that and push into it.
Jibbing: A little speed is helpful here, you want to make sure you get your weight over that sweet spot. When you do it locks in and feels so secure. Going sideways that traditional camber section hugs the rail and you feel it doing its thing.
Carving: Only on really wind blown ice did I feel this board wasn’t secure. In softer snow it locked in to a carve and held well. You can drive aggressively off the tail as need be and it will zip out of a carve. Short quick carves in my opinion are a bit more of this decks strong suit.

Personal Thoughts: Sometimes when a board gets a new additive to it you never notice it and the board continues to ride like it did. That is not the case with this deck, those Titanal Struts do effect the rod and really help amplify the spring out of this board. I constantly found myself boosting a bit more off side hits or popping harder off features. While the sidecut wasn’t mind blowing it got the job done. Overall it’s a solid offering and has its place in the Capita line up.
