Resort: Powder Mountain and Solitude

Conditions: A mix of clouds and sun at Powmow, with untracked to tracked out powder and slightly chundery moguls. At Solitude it was sunny, blue skies, with some clouds rolling in, cooler temps, left over powder, and lots of corduroy and ice.

Flex: This board has a slight directional flex meaning softer nose and then progressively stiffening up to the tail. The torsional flex is very noticeable. Overall it has a ever so slightly past middle of the road all mountain flex.

Stability: This board is super stable. You’ll see a little bit of chatter in the tips but it doesn’t resonate back underfoot. In chunder and rutted out terrain it doesn’t buck you around at all it just plows through everything in its path.

Ollies/Pop: This board has some nice pop to it. The camber is very easy to load up but the rebound is immense. So charge in and forget about having to load it up.

Butterability: There’s more flex in the nose than in the tail so obviously nose butters are going to be easier. But this board is great for doing pow butters.

Carving: This board rips turns. It sets on edge easily and just feels locked in. This board rips turns really well and is easy to center flex.

Rider in Mind: Powder chasing all mountain rider.

Personal Thoughts: This board is far more than just a powder board in my opinion. This is one of those boards that you get on and it just feels like you’ve been on it forever and it just wants to cut through powder, rip a carve, and then pop off anything in your path.
