Board: Yes Hybrid

Size: 157

Camber Option: Directional Camrock 1-4-1. A set back camrocker with a mellower rocker zone.

Bindings: K2 Indy

Stance: 21.5 Wide 15 Negative 12 Goofy

Boots: K2 Thraxis Size 10

My Weight: 195lbs

Resort: Copper Mountain

Conditions: Bluebird skies, warming temperatures, half a foot of fresh pow, spring conditions moving in after a late night storm, perfectly groomed runs, and chunder snow in areas that didn’t get as much wind load.

Flex: With a total directional flex you have an abundance of give in the nose then it stiffens up from just outside the front insert back to the tail. There’s a moderate amount of torsional flex which makes it playful where you want it. The overall flex is somewhere near middle of the road.

Stability: This board is lively and does bounce around a bit in rutted out terrain. You’ll feel a little chatter under foot but not enough to overwhelm you or really fatigue your knees. At speeds the nose does get some flap and that chatter will lightly resonate back under foot.

Ollies/Pop: This board has some spring off the tail. You load it up and it pops. It made powdery side hits, cat tracks, and rollers fun little launch ramps. It takes next to no effort to engage the camber profile, but it rebounds with a highly responsive spring.

Butterability: Dear god the nose on this thing. You want to go fast pop into a butter and hold it? Here you go! This is it! This board is a butter machine. It just wants to wheelie out of pow, press into it on the nose, and hold on forever.

Carving: The sidecut on this board does not suck. It engages how you would expect and it stays locked in. You do tend to steer a bit more under foot than out at the tips which is nice. Short quick turns or long hard drawn out ones this board has you covered. You can even lay down the occasional Euro carve if you want to as well.

Rider in Mind: Resort pow rider with a freestyle focus.

Personal Thoughts: This board is just so much fun for low angle pow. You can butter till your hearts content. The nimbleness of it in the trees can’t be over looked as well. This board just zips in and out of turns and slashes with the best of them.
