Conditions: Sunny bluebird skies, a little wind, left over hot pow outside the trees, and normal pow in the trees.
Flex: Lets start with yes this is a women’s twin pow board, but the 53 and 56 will easily hold a rider of my weight but just be a little soft. So you have a bit of play in the tips then through the insert packs it’s stiffer, and there’s a lot of torsional flex.
Stability: This board plows through everything in its path with relative ease. The softer nose does get a bit flappy at high speeds and bends back a bit in hot pow but it never buckles or causes you to wash out. A lot of this is due in part to the wider platform it has.
Ollies: The snap is very skate style and it is easy to engage. You never notice that it is a majority camber.
Butterability: The pointy tips obviously will catch depending on how hard you push into them, but that’s to be expected. It’s easy to get your body out over the nose and tail and just play around.
Jibbing: With the wider platform you have something you can really set down on a rail or feature if you need to and not worry about it. But it’s a powder twinish board so lets be real it’s not what you’re going to be doing with all the time.
Carving: This board rolls from edge to edge with ease and while it’s soft and you can over power it, it still feels locked in on edge. Granted I’m on a 53 for women and a 56 definitely would have been better it did a great job.

Personal Thoughts: So this kind of ended up with us by accident and Kevin was supposed to ride it but I said fuck it and went for it. This shape needs to enter the guys line and fast, this is essentially like riding a twin Sashimi and it’s a blast. The shape cuts through snow and floats well, it can get on edge when you need it, it’s playful but yet doesn’t kill you.
