Conditions: Sunny bluebird skies, zero wind, cooler temps, fresh corduroy, pockets of powder, and some ice for good measure.

Flex: They’ve obviously softened this up a bit since the last time I rode it. It’s still a stiffer twin park board so just be aware of that. The tips are softer which is to be expected then through the camber section of the board it stiffens up. There’s a little bit of torsional flex but not a crazy amount.

Stability: This board is super stable whether charging a groomer or pushing through rutted out terrain. You get a tiny bit of flap in the tips but it doesn’t resonate back under foot and just pushes through everything in its path.

Ollies: This board has snap that’s for sure. You can load it up and it will pop. The more you put in the more you get out of it and it lets you know that. If you’re lazy with your loading up skills you might not like this board.

Pop On Jumps: Here is where it’s at home. This board just wants to get in the air and it has the power to accentuate the lip so you boost. So go fast or slow it doesn’t matter you will pop on this thing.

Butterability: It takes a bit more to lock into a butter with this board. What’s nice is you do have rocker in the tip and tail and that will help you, but the rebound fights you the whole way so prepare yourself for that.

Jibbing: You have to know where the sweet spot is on this board. Once you’ve located it go faster, press harder, and prepare yourself for what it’s going to throw at you. This board is best suited to basic tricks with speed or for someone that’s running the park like a slopestyle course.

Carving: This board rolls in and out of turns with ease. You feel the Serrated 7 (magnatraction) lock in on edge and it holds well. When railing a deep hard aggressive carve it does have limitations but then again it’s a twin park board so that’s to be expected. What’s nice is this thing locks in on edge till you want to disengage it.

Rider in Mind: High end freestyle rider.

Personal Thoughts: It’s been a while since I got on this board but they did soften it up, probably in response to the new Juggernaut they introduced. This board was actually very pleasant to ride for its flex and didn’t feel like it was riding me. It’s good on edge which was nice as Copper had just opened up the mini pipe and getting back into that it had the hold you wanted.
