Conditions: Overcast skies, cooler temps, zero wind, chunder snow, ice, crap, perfect corduroy, and if you were lucky to find it some pow.

Flex: You have a slightly softer nose due to the rocker mainly and less with the core profiling, then it stiffens back up through the front insert to the tail. There’s a decent amount of torsional flex. Overall it’s a middle of the road freeride flex.

Stability: The width adds some stability to this board, but overall if you go mach ten you will get chatter in that nose that resonates back under the front insert pack. In really rutted out terrain it bends and flexes with every contour so you won’t get bucked around.

Ollies/Pop: Having camber and a tiny rocker zone outside the back insert will give this thing some snap. Is it the poppiest volume shifted powder board out there? No, but it does get the job done on sidehits, rollers, and pillow poppers if you can find them.

Butterability: That giant wide nose is great for buttering around. You don’t have to worry about that. The tail really doesn’t have too much going on back there so high speed wheelies are all you get.

Carving: What I like about this board is that it rips a carve when you need to. It transitions in and out of turns with ease for its width and it locks into carves and holds them due to the serrated edges.

Personal Thoughts: Nothing’s changed in this board since I last reviewed it. It’s solid and you know what you’re getting with it. The width gives you float, the camber gives you drive, and the shape lets you have fun.
