Resort: Copper Mountain

Conditions: Overcast skies with late day blue skies and clouds, average to warmer temps, 5 to 10 inches of fresh pow, chop, chunder, left over pow, lumpy groomers, and dust on groomers.

Flex: This boards just above a middle of the road all mountain freeride flex. This makes it a little stiffer but not by much. You get more play in the nose which is accentuated by the rocker there, it stiffens up through the camber section, and then has a little play in the tail due to the rocker. The torsional flex is there but not overly abundant and has a bit of rigidity.

Stability: For the most part this board is super smooth and stable. You’ll feel a little bit of chatter in the nose due in part to the flap from the rocker section but that doesn’t really resonate back. In rutted out terrain this board either crushes everything in front of it or plows up on top of it and floats over it. It’s damp underfoot but still lively.

Ollies/Pop: There’s a ton of pop in this board. When you load up the camber section you feel it wants to rebound and the way it works with the tail rocker you get a springboard. This helps you stay on top of fresh pow as it porpoises, it boosts off sidehits when you want it to, and it can ollie off a roller with ease. So send it if you want to.

Butterability: Those rocker zones help with buttering this board. The camber section wants to fight it a little bit so be aware of that. When you lock in you have to press a bit harder than you would think but it will hold and stay secure and then allow you to pop out of it.

Carving: This board has a super agile edge to edge transmission. There’s a bit more power out of the tail when you put your weight on the back foot which helps you slingshot out of a carve. On edge it feels secure and you can drive it hard off the front foot or be more mellow and just ankle steer it if need be. Short tight quick carves, medium mellow carves, or deep hard laid over ones it has you covered.

Rider in Mind: All mountain freeride guy that wants a damp, lively, and snappy deck.

Personal Thoughts: Not going to lie, liked this more than the Antidote which is what supposedly replaced the Manifest Team a board I loved last year. This in my opinion is more like the Manifest Team and exactly what you would want from an all mountain freeride board. It grips, rips, pops, slashes, and floats exceptionally well.
