Conditions: Sunny bluebird skies, warmer temps, sustained moderate to high winds, ice, chop, chunder, slush, and hero snow on the groomers.

Flex: The overall flex comes in just slightly past middle of the road. You get a little more play in the tips with the nose being slightly softer than the tail then a stiffer mid section. The torsional flex is there but not overly abundant.

Stability: This board is smooth and stable that’s for sure. There’s a level of dampness that absorbs chatter but it still retains a slightly lively feel to it. Overall if you like plowing through chop and chunder without getting bucked around here you go.

Ollies: The C3 profile is relatively easy to load up and this board snaps how you would expect it to. It has enough power to ollie a slow sign, pop a sidehit, or launch a roller and never worry about it.

Pop On Jumps: This board can handle a jump no questions asked. It gets the job done whether you load it up and pop off the lip or are lazy and let it throw you.

Butterability: It takes a little more work to butter this board and get it to hold, but it’s never overly fights you. There’s a nice sweet spot in the tips with the nose having just a bit more give than the tail, it sits right around where the contact point is and this is what you want to aim for. Speed is your friend here.

Jibbing: Basic jib tricks are where it stands out. You can get it to lock in to a press and hold while still providing you with enough snap to get out of the end of the feature. When you go sideways it slightly cradles the feature but doesn’t clap out.

Carving: This is where this board stands out. You’ll notice that it can roll from edge to edge with a fluid power that doesn’t take a lot of effort. Ankle steering is your friend here and lets you just cruise and be mellow. When you do get aggressive it locks into a carve and really lets you drive it hard. You can lay this board over whenever you want or just let it cut through everything in its path.

Rider in Mind: All mountain freeride guy with a freestyle flare.

Personal Thoughts: I always go back and forth on whether to throw this in the all mountain freestyle or all mountain freeride category. It just lends itself so well to bother categories and doesn’t disappoint. This is probably the most consistent board in Lib Techs line for versatility and is always a solid option to grab and just rip.
