Conditions: Slightly overcast skies with the sun poking through, average temps, a little bit of fresh snow, perfect corduroy, and zero wind.
Flex: This board is soft and here’s why it’s soft. There’s nothing in the nose and tail of it. If you actually look at the board from the side you’ll see it’s thinner than other boards. This means that the nose folds under any aggressive weight pushed into. I will say that it is moderately stiffer under foot and off the tail. There’s a lot of torsional flex to it.
Stability: There really isn’t any, you feel everything in this board. It’s very lively and not damp at all. It just resonates all chatter and force right back into your feet.
Ollies/Pop: The camber profile is easy to load up and it takes next to nothing to get it to engage and pop. While you can pop with it and it’s on par for other softer flexing boards it’s nothing to write home about.
Butterability: You’ll fold the nose if you put too much force and weight over it, but the tail is a little bit more stable.
Carving: This board grips on edge and this is where it shines. You can rail it from edge to edge with ease and feel it lock in Its very easy to manipulate the board off either foot and change how hard you’re carving with it. I will say that due to the lively nature of it you feel everything when you’re on edge.
Rider in Mind: Someone that is lighter weight and wants a board to rip a carve with.
Personal Thoughts: This board is literally a Nitro Woodcarver for a 100 dollars more in price. It’s a ripped off shape but with a half assed core in it. The Woodcarver is a better board, it’s also supposed to be a Nitro specific shape. So fuck this company for ripping them off. On a side note I folded the nose hitting a log jam so badly it bucked me. This was with minimal force too.
