Each year, a couple of the finest print magazines in snowboarding do annual awards. These particular awards are called The Slushies, by Slush The Magazine, and they are a big deal, and the winners are beginning to roll out right now. Here are some of the winners so far: Knights Of The Brown Table for Long Video of the Year, Atlas for Short Video of the Year, and The Uninvited Invitational for the Forward Lean Award.
The Slushie Awards are voted upon by the Slush Magazine staff as well as a board of their own making. Knights Of The Brown Table won against nominees Rated R, We Are Losers 2, Casino, and Flying High Again. Atlas won against nominees Blooom, Bless The Ledge/Secret Tape, and Dorothy. The Uninvited Invitational won against the Burton Mystery Series, and We Are Mental.
The rest of the awards that will be rolling out are Rider of the Year awards for men and women, and perhaps more, but we shall just have to wait and see!
