Snowboard Iskola

Amateur snowboarder Anthony Keaton recently took an audacious step outside the confines of Big Snow American Dream, the only indoor snowdome in the United States. His mission? To ride his snowboard down an escalator, a stunt that vividly recalled professional snowboarder Zeb Powell's jaw-dropping feat three years prior.

While Keaton may not possess Powell's fame or skill, his daring venture deserves recognition. Negotiating an escalator's steps instead of the pristine slopes typically associated with snowboarding was nothing short of remarkable. His fearless descent, though unconventional, left onlookers in awe.

Remarkably, no one was injured during Keaton's audacious act, underscoring his commitment to safety amid the excitement.

Debate may persist over whether Keaton's escapade qualifies as "snowboarding," but one fact remains indisputable: it was undeniably entertaining. The gasps, thrills, and infectious excitement it generated among spectators made for an unforgettable spectacle.

Big Snow American Dream is North America's only indoor ski and snowboard resort, located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It opened in December 2019 as part of the larger American Dream Meadowlands project, offering year-round snow sports in a controlled indoor environment. Despite facing delays and challenges during development, it has become a unique attraction in the region.
