The finals of the 2024 Natural Selection Tour air today on Red Bull TV at 10am and if you haven't gotten a chance to watch it yet, feast your eyes on the expansive Mosquito Bowl, a swath of the Selkirk Tangiers tenure just northwest of Revelstoke Mountain Resort.

The arena, unridden by any of the Natural Selection riders prior to contest day, is a sharp contrast to the Montana Bowl, this year's venue at Revelstoke (and of course, Boulder Park, last year's technical beast of a playing field). Mosquito Bowl is expansive and rolling, largely open above treeline with spines, large benches and convex rollers, followed by freestyle-friendly cliffs and trees at the bottom of the venue.

The weather window necessitated that finals run the day after qualifiers; temperatures were set to warm up after that. The March 8th storm that had caused avalanche activity just prior to the contest start of the Yeti Natural Selection Revelstoke also affected the snowpack in Mosquito Bowl, but natural activity along with mitigation by the Selkirk Tangiers crew ensured the safest possible conditions for the contest to run.

Because of the timing, the riders weren't able to have a scout day to check out the terrain in person. Luckily the crew had robust photos as well as Tour sponsor ONX Backcountry maps to study; dropping in to totally new terrain requires incredible on-sighting ability paired with the preparation.

At 10am PST today, the finals go live, so tune in to see who is crowned as the men's and women's winners of the Yeti Natural Selection Selkirk Tangiers. Both winners will literally drive home in a brand new Rivian.

The stage has been set. The riders are ready. Watch today on Redbulltv.com.
