The Yeti Natural Selection Revelstoke was a few weeks ago on March 13th, but we're still enjoying a look at the gnarly riding that went down in Montana Bowl that day.
Recently, @naturalselection shared the GoPro angle of Torstein Horgmo's second run in men's qualifiers.
The POV footage really gives perspective on just how fast the features in Montana Bowl line up. And the endurance needed to navigate the terrain top-to-bottom. Heavy!
Torstein dropped into the new NST venue first on contest day, opening up the course without apprehension. The Norwegian rider is finely attuned to backcountry terrain and rides with a fully depressed pedal mentality that is as smooth and calm as can be, despite his explosive riding style.
Torstein took the win over another fierce competitor, Mark McMorris, and advanced to finals day, the Yeti Natural Selection Selkirk Tangiers. That event will be broadcast on Red Bull TV on April 4th.
